As we prepare for our upcoming conference, we are looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help us create a welcoming and seamless experience for our attendees. Your support truly makes a difference, and we’d love to have you involved!

Set-Up Volunteers (Day Before, April 6th | 1:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.)

(10+ volunteers needed)

Help us get everything ready by assisting with:

• Decorating tables in the meeting room

• Organizing name tags at registration

• Stuffing conference bags

• Setting up the SHRM Mid-Florida table

Morning Volunteer Opportunities (7:00 a.m. – 8:15 a.m.)

Greeters (4 volunteers needed)

• 2 stationed at the entrance by the stairs

• 2 stationed at the back entrance

• Welcome attendees and help direct them upon arrival

Registration Team (3 volunteers needed)

• Assist with check-in and name tag distribution

• Attendees will be grouped alphabetically (subject to adjustment):

  • A – H

  • I – P

  • Q – Z

Seating Hosts/Hostesses (2 volunteers needed)

• Located inside the meeting room

• Help guide attendees to their tables

• Note: Reserved tables will be designated for sponsors, speakers, and group ticket holders; all other seating is open

SHRM Mid-Florida Table Coverage (4–8 volunteers total)
We’re looking for at least one volunteer during each of the following times:

• 7:30 a.m. – 8:15 a.m. (timing may adjust based on sponsor readiness)

• 9:30 a.m. – 9:50 a.m.

• 11:35 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.

• 1:45 p.m. – 2:00 p.m.

• 3:15 p.m. – 3:30 p.m.

If you’re available to volunteer for any of these roles or time slots, please complete this survey with your preferred assignment(s). We’ll do our best to accommodate your preferences. An email confirmation will be sent once the survey closes on Thursday, April 2nd.
