When and where does SHRM Mid-Florida meet?

SHRM Mid-Florida rotates breakfast and dinner meetings on the second Tuesday and Thursday of each month. Please visit our EVENTS page (see menu bar above) for a complete listing. Our breakfasts and dinners are held at Grasslands Golf and Country Club in Lakeland. It is located at 1600 Grasslands Blvd, Lakeland, FL 33803. Grasslands is approximately one mile North of the Polk Parkway on Harden Blvd on the West side of Harden. CLICK HERE to see a map and get directions.

I am a National SHRM Member. Are there added dues for the local SHRM Mid-Florida chapter?

Yes - You can join and renew both your national and chapter membership on the national SHRM website.

My company paid the chapter dues for my predecessor. Can that unexpired membership be transferred to my name?

No. Membership in SHRM Mid-Florida is by individual, rather than by company and is non-transferable.

As a member of SHRM Mid-Florida, may I use the membership directory or meetings to market products or services?

No. The membership directory is provided to the membership as a means to facilitate communication, rather than for the purpose of solicitation. Solicitation is prohibited in our bylaws. If you would like to market a product or service, SHRM Mid-Florida offers meeting sponsorship opportunities. Please visit the SPONSORS page (see menu bar above) for more information. 

How do I update my member listing?

You can view your current membership profile and/or update your information (address, phone number, email address, etc.) by going to the MEMBER SIGN IN logo at the top right of the website. Once logged in, click the member sign in logo and choose the view profile. You can then review and edit your member profile.
