Speaker Bio:

Ashly oversees Human Resources and Payroll for the Town of Oakland, Florida, where she blends servant leadership with a strong strategic lens. She also is a Fractional HR Director and Consultant with ABBelmarez Consulting, LLC. Known for her ability to think creatively while keeping people comfortable with change, she has built a reputation as a forward-thinking problem solver who strengthens performance, supports healthy workplace cultures, and drives initiatives that deliver measurable results.

Ashly is actively exploring the evolving role of Artificial Intelligence in HR, with a special focus on ethics, responsible use, and long-term value to the workforce. She serves on the Board of Directors for SHRM Mid-Florida and mentors emerging professionals through both SHRM Mid-Florida and the Take Stock in Children program.

She earned her SPHR, holds the Public Sector Human Resources Administration credential (PSHRA-CP), and is certified in Regulatory Compliance and Strategic AI in Leadership and Business. Ashly earned a BBA in Human Resources Management and is completing her MS in Human Resources Management with an emphasis in Public Administration.
